X-Rays
In the past, film-based radiographs (X-rays) provided dentists with the internal images they needed to ensure the health and development of your child's smile. However, these radiographs took time to develop and required a larger amount of radiation for exposure. Digital radiographs need less radiation for exposure and provide our dental team with an instant image that can be viewed by either Dr. Jackson or Dr. Moore, the parent, and the patient and then saved in our computer system.
Digital Photography
Digital photographs give Drs. Jackson and Moore instant reference images of your child's smile and facial features, which can be saved electronically in our computer system and used for future reference. This is an important tool for monitoring the development of your child's smile as he or she grows.
